Do we have the right to impose our feelings and attitudes on something / someone when we choose to help or not to help? Let me tell you a real story so that you understand our position.

From some stories / videos / posts you already know that we have good baby boxes for boys and girls, which were carefully filled by our partners from the UK to pass on to expectant mothers or new mothers who are now in eastern Ukraine and have to stay in underground premises.

At the bottom there is a pipe in which you can put the baby. The box includes wet wipes for babies, hygiene for mom and baby, toys, pacifiers, baby bottles, small scissors, diapers and very good first clothes for the baby. From this boxing, you know, a very bright feeling of love, which is invested in the design of this basket and it seems that they were created for angels.

Today we were approached by a volunteer who collects children's things, with a request to transfer several boxes to the women's colony. Honestly, at first I had a lot of questions:
Will our partners agree?
And what about the purpose of creating these boxes, because it is for the eastern regions?
Will this box in its entirety get to this place?

For some reason, a dark room, not smiling faces and a heavy atmosphere immediately appear. And then all thoughts fell into place, I called Oleg in the UK and asked: "Oleg, can we transfer the boxes to such an institution?" and smiled when she heard the answer.
He said, "Of course pass it on."

It is possible to analyze for a long time where it is calm or not calm now. You can feel the full range of contradictions of feelings, comparing the location of people. But first of all, remember that help is not about separation and it is not about condemnation. Help should unite some people to help others. And then you will not see a dark space or light.

The main thing will be the child's smile, tenderness in the eyes of the mother and faith in the future. We all have it. We thank everyone who helps. And we are grateful for each of your thanks.
